The Pharmers’ Society started in 1998 by the pharmacy students of Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga. Our club provides the opportunity to experience a variety of social, professional and educational events
Our club provides the opportunity to experience a variety of social, professional and educational events. Pharmers is also part of a larger organisation, the National Australian Pharmacy Students Association, NAPSA. Pharmers' strives to to reward its members with many social events including our annual ball, Pharmers' indoor soccer competition, Scribble Party, Mystery Bus Tour of Wagga and many more events! We also want to provide extra educational events for our members that may not be part of the mainstream bachelors degree, such as Blackmores' complementary medicines and Smith & Nephew wound care course, with many other educational events in development! Pharmers' prides itself on the networking ability of our members, with tight connections formed between members of all year groups. It is because of this that Pharmers' has won the coveted Les Cashen Trophy in 2011 and 2013 whilst also hosting the NAPSA annual congress in 2012 in our beautiful rural city of Wagga Wagga!
